Pinxtos Week @ Wine Shop

In preparation for our coursed collaboration dinner with Chef Roza Segoviano, Viva Hospitality Group, we are spending the week celebrating all things Basque. Leading up to the dinner (Friday Night at Sleepy Rooster), we will be offering a Pinxtos tasting menu at the bar for guests to enjoy. We will also be welcoming Demian Hostetter of Crossroads Vintners who will be pouring wines, sidra, sherries and vermouths from the region!

Demian Hostetter, Crossroads

Demian grew up in the restaurant industry. His family owned the first vegetarian restaurant in Indianapolis and his father was a server at St. Elmo Steakhouse for 30 years.

After retiring from his first life as a rock star, Demian needed some work, so heeded the call to get back in the industry. He quickly realized that he had a real passion for wine and could connect his excitement with customers. In 2009, Demian received his Sommelier Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and started working for Crossroad Vintners. 

7 years of repping and banging on doors, Demian was promoted to Brand Manager for Crossroad. In this role, Demian has studied extensively in Spain, specifically in Sherry country and represents a dynamic portfolio of wine and spirits.
